Bridging Over A Ball

A shot that a lot of players find daunting is when they’re in a position where they have no choice but to bridge over another ball. It happens, and as players, we need the skills to play these types of shots with a high degree of success.

My students practice these weekly as part of their staple routines, and I recommend you do too.

The key to playing these shots is to have a nice stable bridge hand, make sure you are on the line of aim, and in most cases, you’ll need to bring the grip hand in on the cue as the bridge length is very short.

In this video, I explain these concepts and demonstrate the shot. I hope it helps!
